Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo

The much reveled Anastasia Brow Powder took the blogosphere by storm quite some time ago. I however, like to know that I’m in for a good thing, so after reading many positive reviews, and after much internal debate about paying $23.00 on a brow product! I finally caved and justified it as a ‘treat’.

I have to admit, the packaging is absolutely beautiful, however, I was disappointed to see that it had changed from the original metal compact. But anyway, the packaging isn't the point right... or is it?

After using this fairly consistently for a few weeks, I honestly don't get the hype. It is a great eyebrow powder, don't get me wrong, but is it worth $23.00? Frankly, no. Admittedly, I knew this going in. I obviously didn't think it would magically transform my brows, but when it could be replaced by a simple matte shadow... meh. If you are a bargain hunter or if you are just looking for practicality without the frills then this is not the product for you. If however, you are a sucker for beautiful packaging and branding: then go ahead, you won't be disappointed.

Review: MediBac Dermalogica Line

Dermalogica is obviously very well-known for their acne solutions, and after having absolutely no luck with any 'drugstore' products, I finally decided to give them a go. I went with the MediBac line, since it is designed for adult acne and I guess I'm a full-grown person now.

The medibac clearing skin kit comes with five products, plus I purchased the full-size cleanser. So I'll give you a quick run-down of what I thought about each product.

Review: Michael Todd Avocado and Mango Hydrating Facial Mask

I'm sure those of you who have combination skin will understand; finding products which work to treat both your dry and oily patches is tough. Even finding products which treat just one problem, and don't worsen the other: such as moisturizers that don't break you out, can be really hard. Which is why I love this product.

The Michael Todd Avocado and Mango Mask is an organic moisturizing mask. It is meant to be applied twice weekly after cleansing, left on for 10-15 minutes, and then rinsed off. It claims to gently exfoliate dead skin cells, while also moisturizing and rejuvenating the skin. I would say that this is completely accurate as my skin feels much softer after using this product.

Review: H2O Night Oasis Oxygenating Rejuvenator

Let me just start out by saying that when I buy a makeup or skincare product from an outlet or discount store, I am aware that it might not be great quality.

That is why I wasn't that surprised when I didn't like this moisturizer.

Review: Sleek Storm Palette

When I can't get something, it just makes me want it so much more!

That is how I came to own the Sleek Storm Palette.

Review: Korres Lip Butter

Korres Lip Butters have been raved about as being one of the best lip treatments on the market. I decided to take one for a spin, and let me tell you, I was not disappointed.

Review: Crest 3D White Strips

Yellow teeth are not attractive, and as an avid tea and coffee drinker, discoloration was inevitable. I had been putting up with stained teeth for a long time, but after reading a lot of amazing reviews, I decided to stop it with the troll teeth already and get some pearly whites.

I bought the Professional Level 4 Crest 3D Whitestrips to get the maximum effect.
